This letter addressed to: Mayor Kate Gallego; Vice Mayor Jim Waring; City Attorney Kris Meyer and Kathy Lemke Head of Phoenix City Prosecutor’s Office.

Subject: Claudia Sobarzo’s malicious prosecution for shoplifting by The City Prosecutor’s Office. (name withheld) is also culpable in this matter since she is either part of the prosecutorial misconduct or aware of it and chooses to do nothing.

Case No. 2018 9034 106

Ladies and Gentlemen the time has come. Are you or you not going to get off the dime and do something about this insane prosecution of John and Claudia Keck, my grandchildren? Claudia’s mental state has declined even further and is now back on medication and seeing a therapist once a week. She is nearing a total mental and physical collapse. She has recently undergone major abdominal surgery and has developed respiratory problems and her old knee injury has her walking with a cane most of the time.  Are you people in power going to just sit behind your desks and convince yourselves there’s nothing I can do about a situation where a juvenile-minded city prosecutor uses his protected position to operate his own private torture chamber? There is no excuse legal or moral for your lack of interest in protecting helpless citizens against such abuse. What are you waiting for? Another young woman to die due to the stunning ineptitude and corruption of The Phoenix City Prosecutor’s Office?

Subject case is on life support. There is no inculpatory evidence only exculpatory. If you folks can find time in your busy schedules to actually look into this matter and see what’s going on, you will, at last be doing what you get paid to do and that is looking out for those who cannot look out for themselves.

We are fighting for our very lives here and nobody gives a damn. The City Prosecutor’s Office is knowingly aiding and abetting Walmart in its cynical attempt  at avoiding punishment for its despicable abuse of Claudia over a ten-year period. Reminder: Claudia’s pending case in Federal District Court will easily qualify as The Worst Case of Walmart Employee Abuse in U.S. History.

Bob Keck for John and Claudia
